DRUG ARREST – NIKKI NICOLE PITRE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Nikki Nicole Pitre, 29, of 1124 Main Street, Houma, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop on Wednesday south of Napoleonville.
A uniformed patrol deputy initiated a stop of a vehicle for a traffic violation. The deputy made contact with the driver while a detective made contact with the front seat passenger now identified as Nikki Nicole Pitre. During the interview process, Nikki Nicole Pitre acknowledged that she was possessing a quantity of heroin and drug paraphernalia on her person. The contraband was recovered.
Additionally, a K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of controlled dangerous substances.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of additional drug paraphernalia and marijuana, all attributed to Nikki Nicole Pitre.
Deputies arrested Nikki Nicole Pitre and booked her into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession of Marijuana
Nikki Nicole Pitre remains incarcerated with bond set at $7,500.
