DOMESTIC ABUSE – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
GERALD K. HOOD

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Gerald K. Hood, 60, of 346 highway 401, Napoleonville, LA, on felony domestic abuse charges arising from a Sunday morning incident.

Deputies were called to the aforementioned address in reference to a disturbance.

At some point, the victims were able to leave the residence at which time deputies were able to locate and interview them.

Deputies determined that Gerald K. Hood was at the family home and was extremely intoxicated. Hood was angry and at some point, assaulted two family members with a knife.

Deputies located Hood at the home and arrested him.

Hood was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse – Aggravated Assault (2 Counts)

Gerald K. Hood remains incarcerated with bond set at $100,000.
