DOMESTIC ABUSE – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
MARSHALL SHANE RAGAN

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Marshall Shane Ragan, 44, of 122 Tyler Lane, Klotzville, LA, on felony charges related to a domestic disturbance.

Late Friday night, deputies were summoned to the aforementioned address and made contact with the complainant. Deputies were advised that a domestic situation had developed and the complainant’s domestic partner had made threats and did so with a dangerous weapon.
The deputies noted some wounds to Marshall Shane Ragan which required medical attention. Deputies did conclude that those wounds were not inflicted by any acts of the complainant.
Marshall Shane Ragan was transported to a local hospital by Acadian Ambulance.
Upon completion of treatment, Ragan was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault
*Simple Cruelty to Animals (3 Counts)
*Resisting an Officer

Marshall Shane Ragan Remains incarcerated in lieu of $5,750 bond.
