DISTURBANCE – VIDEO POKER OUTLET

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Wendy A. Doyle, 58, of 211 Baja Trail, Thibodaux, LA, on felony charges arising from a disturbance at a video poker outlet in Labadieville on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies were dispatched to the location after receiving a complaint alleging that a patron had become unruly, had spit on a cashier and had physically assaulted a security officer.
When deputies arrived, the suspect, Wendy A. Doyle, became very unruly during the interview process and was very threatening toward the investigating deputy and his family.
Wendy A. Doyle was still on scene and was taken into custody. At the time, Doyle appeared to be in an intoxicated condition.
Based on all information available from witnesses and surveillance video footage, Wendy A. Doyle was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:
*Simple Assault (2 Counts)
*Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
*Disturbing the Peace
*Public Intimidation (Felony)
Wendy A. Doyle remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
