DISTURBANCE – RESISTING ARREST WITH FORCE OR VIOLENCE –KEVIN J. HUE, SR., TOBY JOSEPH BREAUX
PIERRE PART– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kevin J. Hue, Sr., 44, of 4002 Highway 70, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising from a disturbance complaint late Friday night in Pierre Part.
Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned address in connection to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant as well as other involved parties including Kevin J. Hue, Sr. and Toby Joseph Breaux, 24, of 116 Derrick Street, Pierre Part, LA.
Deputies interviewed the parties and determined that Kevin J. Hue, Sr. was involved in an altercation with a third party. Toby Joseph Breaux intervened on the third party’s behalf and at some point, allegedly committed a battery upon Kevin J. Hue, Sr.
Toby Joseph Breaux was issued a misdemeanor summons for Simple Battery and released with a court date. All parties dispersed and were told to stay away from each other.
Shortly thereafter, the deputy was notified that Kevin J. Hue, Sr. was lingering in the area of the home of Toby Joseph Breaux. The deputy was able to confirm the allegation and proceeded to speak to Kevin J. Hue, Sr. As the deputy confronted Hue, the situation turned physical. Kevin J. Hue, Sr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence
*Public Intimidation
*Remaining after Being Forbidden
Kevin J. Hue, Sr. remains incarcerated with bond set at $60,000.
