DISTURBANCE – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Samuel Robert Sternfels, 29, of 6545 Highway 1, Belle Rose, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a complaint at the aforementioned address early Saturday.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and upon arrival made contact with Samuel Robert Sternfels who was creating a disturbance.

Deputies detained Sternfels and conducted a pat down search for weapons. During that process, quantities of suspected methamphetamine, amphetamines and alprazolam (Xanax) were seized.

Samuel Robert Sternfels was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
*Disturbing the Peace – Appearing in Public in an Intoxicated Condition

Samuel Robert Sternfels remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
