DISTURBANCE – KAYLA ELIZABETH DEAN

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kayla Elizabeth Dean, 29, of 1101 Sandalwood Drive, Harvey, LA, on felony charges arising out of a dispute concerning child custody / visitation issues.

Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with numerous individuals including the complainant and the accused, now identified as Kayla Elizabeth Dean.

Deputies were able to determine that Kayla Elizabeth Dean went to a residence near Belle Rose to pick up a child for a scheduled visitation period. Once at the location, a dispute erupted which turned physical.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies established that probable cause existed to apply for warrants to arrest Kayla Elizabeth Dean.

The accused Kayla Elizabeth Dean was arrested on scene and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Criminal Trespass
*Simple Battery (2 Counts)
*Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling

Kayla Elizabeth Dean remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
