DISTURBANCE – FABIAN E. BROWN

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Fabian E. Brown, 33, of 224 Blackwell Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony gun law violations arising out of a disturbance on Saturday evening on Grisaffi Lane, also in Belle Rose.

Uniformed patrol deputies were dispatched to the area and made contact with multiple involved parties including Fabian E. Brown.

Deputies learned that an argument occurred between individuals and at some point, following the confrontation, Fabian E. Brown had fired several gunshots. Deputies located evidence that shots had been fired.

As a result of the investigation, deputies learned that Brown was a prior convicted felon and could not legally possess a firearm.

Fabian E. Brown was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Fugitive Warrants – Ascension Parish

Fabian E. Brown was incarcerated and released on a $100,000 bond.
