CYBERSTALKING, OBSCENTITY, STALKING, IMPROPER TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS – TYLER JAMES DEVILLE
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyler James Deville, 31, of 167 Redwood Street, Labadieville, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from an investigation which began on September 23, 2024.
The investigation was initiated after the Sheriff’s Office received complaints after unsolicited explicit photographs were sent to six adult females residing in Assumption Parish. At least one of the victims received death threats from the suspect after she requested that he cease sending the messages and photographs.
Detectives were able to identify the place of residence of the suspect now identified as Tyler James Deville and applied for and were granted search warrants for the residence at 167 Redwood Street, Labadieville.
Detectives and deputies executed the search warrant on October 8, 2024. As a result of the investigation, Tyler James Deville was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Cyberstalking – 6 Counts
*Obscenity – 6 Counts
*Improper Telephone Communications – 6 Counts
*Felony Stalking – 2 Counts
Tyler James Deville remains incarcerated with a bond set at $100,000.
