CRUELTY TO JUVENILES – OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Adriana Lynn McNally, 23, of 661 Highway 662, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, arising from a child abuse investigation.
On February 11, 2023, a deputy became aware of a medical call involving a toddler at a Bayou L’Ourse residence.
Prior to the arrival of medical personnel, the child was taken to a local health care facility when the child tested positive for a controlled dangerous substance in his system.
Detectives initiated an investigation and determined that Adriana Lynn McNally was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and had left it within the child’s reach.
After the child became ill, Adriana Lynn McNally made attempts to dispose of the substance before investigators arrived.
Warrants were obtained for the arrest of McNally. The suspect was arrested on Monday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Second Degree Cruelty to Juveniles
*Obstruction of Justice
Adriana Lynn McNally was incarcerated and released on a $50,000 bond.
