AGGRAVATED BATTERY – TOREY OLIVER, JR.

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Torey Oliver, Jr., 18, of 128 Daggs Street, Paincourtville, LA, in connection with a stabbing incident in Bertrandville, LA on March 28, 2020.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a call of a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies began to interview witnesses and made contact with a juvenile victim who had suffered wounds to an arm.

Through investigation, deputies were able to identify Torey Oliver, Jr. as the suspect. A warrant was obtained for Oliver’s arrest.

Torey Oliver, Jr. was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon

Torey Oliver was released after posting a $50,000 bond.
