AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bryan Johnson, 37, of 1050 Highway 1, Donaldsonville, LA, in connection with a domestic incident that occurred on May 24, 2020.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a Daggs Street residence and interviewed the victim. It was alleged that the victim was confronted by the suspect, Bryan Johnson at a Plattenville business and struck the victim’s vehicle with his own.
A short time after, the victim was at a local ATM when the suspect pulled into the parking lot of the atm and fired several shots as he exited his vehicle. There was a passenger in the victim’s vehicle at the time. The victim and her passenger were able to flee the scene.
However, Johnson allegedly followed the victim to the Daggs’ Street area and again struck her vehicle with his.
Detectives initiated an investigation and were able to recover evidence consistent with the victim’s claims at respective crime scenes.
On Tuesday, Johnson turned himself in to detectives and acknowledged his actions. Johnson was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Aggravated Assault Upon a Dating Partner
*Aggravated Assault
Bryan Johnson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
