AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Joseph Henry Turner, 31, of 1010 South Oak, Street, Hammond, LA, on charges related to a shooting incident in the community of Bertrandville on July 4, 2016.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a complaint of shots fired at a local business.
Detectives initiated an investigation that determined that some type of incident occurred at the location resulting in a number of individuals exchanging gunfire and a car was hit.
As a result of that investigation, detectives identified Joseph Henry Turner as a suspect and subsequent to that, applied for and received an arrest warrant on October 18, 2016.
Joseph Henry Turner was arrested in St. Charles Parish on October 28, 2019 and transferred to Assumption Parish where he was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
Turner was released after posting bond in the amount of $15,000.
