AGGRAVATED ASSAULT – FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM – KEVIN J. HUE, SR.

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kevin J. Hue, Sr., 43, of 4002 Highway 70 South, Belle River, LA, on felony assault and firearms charges arising out of an incident that occurred on October 2, 2021 at 115 Reno Street, Pierre Part, LA.

On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to the prior noted address in reference to Kevin J. Hue, Sr. having displayed a firearm in a manner consistent with assault. The deputy was advised that Kevin J. Hue, Sr. was a prior convicted felon. Hue had left the scene on a bicycle prior to deputies arriving.

The investigating deputy interviewed prospective witnesses. At the conclusion of the investigation, the investigating deputy filed for and was granted warrants for the arrest of Kevin J. Hue, Sr.

Keven J. Hue, Sr. was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department. Hue was booked into the Morgan City Jail as a fugitive. Hue was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Friday and booked on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

Kevin J. Hue, Sr. remains incarcerated with bond set at $75,000.
