TRAFFIC INCIDENT, AGGRAVATED FLIGHT, DRUG LAW VIOLATION – DANIEL MICHAEL ELLIOT, TROY VAN TRUONG, SAVANNAH NACOLE WHITE – I.C.E. ARRESTS
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Daniel Michael Elliot, 23, of 5 Village Drive, Morgan City, LA, Savannah Nacole White, 23, of 6094 North Bayou Black Drive, Gibson, LA and Troy Van Truong, 26, of 160 Village Lane, Amelia, LA, on multiple charges arising from a traffic incident turned high speed pursuit in Bayou L’Ourse late Saturday night.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations near LA 398 and LA 662 and attempted a stop of that vehicle. The driver failed to stop and engaged deputies in a pursuit situation through the Bayou L’Ourse and Amelia areas into Terrebonne Parish where the suspects were captured after crashing the vehicle.
Deputies pursued the suspect vehicle at speeds nearing 100 mph before the pursuit ended. The driver, now identified as Daniel Michael Elliot, was treated at the scene for minor injuries and was arrested. The passengers were arrested nearby where the crash occurred. Savannah Nacole White was taken into custody as she was observed climbing onto land from a bayou. Troy Van Truong was arrested a few minutes later as he exited the bayou.
Deputies booked all three subjects into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges as follows:
– As to Daniel Michael Elliot:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Resisting an Officer
*Improper passing
*Speeding
*Failure to Appear – Morgan City Police Department on Charges of Disturbing the Peace (2 Counts), Illegal Possession of Stolen Things, Criminal Trespass
Daniel Michael Elliot remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing on the Assumption Parish charges. Bond on the Morgan City charges is set at $2010.00 cash. He remains incarcerated.
– As to Savannah Nacole White:
*Resisting an Officer
*Failure to Appear – Assumption Parish for Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
*Failure to Appear – Assumption Parish for Sale, Distribution or Possession of a Legend Drug without a Prescription
Savannah Nacole White awaits a bond hearing and remains incarcerated.

Troy Van Truong awaits a bond hearing and remains incarcerated.
