SUSPICIOUS PERSONS COMPLAINT – FUGITIVE ARRESTS
MARKAYLON JUDE CHAISSON, RASHUAN ANTHONY WILLIAMS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Markaylon Jude Chaisson, 24, of 1031 Sovil Davis Drive, Breaux Bridge, LA and Rashuan Anthony Williams, 24, of 1012 Sovil Davis Drive, Breaux Bridge, LA, on fugitive warrants following the investigation of a suspicious person complaint in the 4900 block of LA 308 near Napoleonville on Friday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to the area and encountered a disabled vehicle with three occupants including Markaylon Jude Chaisson and Rashuan Anthony Williams. Deputies interviewed all three occupants and requested identifying credentials. Rashawn Anthony Williams became confrontational and refused to provide identification. At some point, Williams fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. As the investigation continued, deputies determined that Rashuan Anthony Williams was wanted by Elayn Hunt Correctional Center on a warrant for a probation violation. Additionally, Markaylon Jude Chaisson was found to be wanted by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office on warrants for Resisting an Officer and Improper Lane Usage. Both Williams and Chaisson were arrested.

Markaylon Jude Chaisson was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on fugitive warrants for St. Martin Parish on charges of:

*Resisting an Officer
*Improper

Williams remains incarcerated pending transfer to St. Martin Parish.

Rashuan Anthony Williams was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a warrant from Elayn Hunt Correctional Center on a charge of:

*Probation Violation

Rashuan Anthony Williams remains incarcerated pending transfer to Elayn Hunt Correctional Center.

The vehicle owner, Zachary Michael Theriot, 18, of 4983 Main Highway, St. Martinville was cited for expired Motor Vehicle Inspection tag and was released.
