FAILURE TO APPEAR ON DRUG / GUN LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kenya Patterson, 32, of 3654 Baker Drive, Houma, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on felony drug and gun law violations.
Kenya Patterson was previously arrested in Assumption Parish and as a result, was ordered to appear in court on January 25, 2023, and failed to do so.
As a result of not appearing in court as ordered, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Kenya Patterson on January 27, 2023.
The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office was notified on October 25, 2024, by the Louisiana Department of Corrections that Kenya Patterson was in their custody and ready for transfer.
Kenya Patterson was transported to Assumption Parish on October 30, 2024, and booked into the detention facility on a warrant charging him with:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Counts of:
-Possession of Heroin
-Obstruction of Justice
-Unlawful Production, Manufacturing, Distribution or Possession of Fraudulent
Documents for Identification Purposes
-Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
-Prohibited Acts, Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substances
Kenya Patterson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
