TRAFFIC STOP – I.C.E. ARREST – TYRIN ANTHONY BOZEMAN
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyrin Anthony Bozeman, 19, of 279 Hwy. 998, Belle Rose, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from a traffic stop near LA 1 and LA 998 in Belle Rose.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver who provided a fictitious name. The suspect was eventually identified as Tyrin Anthony Bozeman. Deputies determined that Bozeman was wanted in Assumption Parish for Failure to Appear. Bozeman was arrested.
Deputies conducted a search of the suspect vehicle and seized two large caliber firearms including one that had been reported stolen in St. James Parish. Deputies also seized in excess of 28 grams of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia.
Deputies filed a verified complaint against a 17-year-old.
Tyrin Anthony Bozeman and the juvenile were arrested and transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center.
Tyrin Anthony Bozeman was booked on charges of:
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of a Stolen Firearm
*Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Resisting an Officer
*Speeding
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on October 25, 2023, on Charges of – Possession of Marijuana, No Inspection Tag
Tyrin Anthony Bozeman remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
The juvenile was charged by verified complaint on counts of:
*Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms
*Illegal Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The juvenile was ordered continued in custody.
