FALSE COMMUNICATION WITH THE INTENT OT CREATE AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE – JEREMY ANTHONY DIXON – I.C.E. ARREST
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy Anthony Dixon, 43, of 169 Georgette Street, Napoleonville, LA, arising from an incident that occurred on November 19, 2023.
On the aforementioned date, deputies assigned to the I.C.E. detail were dispatched to the 160 block of Georgette Street south of Napoleonville in reference to a 911 hang up call. While enroute, deputies were advised that a second call came into the 911 center in which the complainant advised that persons with ski-masks were at his home. Deputies made contact with the caller who advised that persons were present with high powered assault styled rifles. Deputies determined that the complaint was unfounded. Later on in the morning, deputies were again dispatched to the location for the same type of complaint.
After completing their investigation, deputies arrested Jeremy Anthony Dixon and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*False Communication with the Intent to Cause an Emergency Response
*Resisting an Officer
*Criminal Mischief
Jeremy Anthony Dixon remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing on the above charges. Additionally Jeremy Anthony Dixon was charged with following:
*Failure to Appear in Court – Assumption Parish for Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Secure Registration, Expired Motor Vehicle Tag
Bond Set at $214.00 cash.
*Failure to Appear in Court – Assumption Parish for Switched License Plate, No Insurance, Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
Bond set at $494.00 cash.
