GUN LAW VIOLATIONS – I.C.E. ARREST – DEVONTE JOSEPH GUILFO
BERTRANDVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Devonte Joseph Guilfo, 28, of 5379 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, on felony gun law violations arising from an incident late Saturday night near Bertrandville.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail was dispatched to a complaint of shots fired in the 5300 block of LA 1. Deputies responded to the complaint and made contact with the complainant.
Deputies were able to identify Devonte Joseph Guilfo as the individual who fired several shots from a firearm.
Deputies also determined that Devonte Joseph Guilfo was a convicted felon.
Devonte Joseph Guilfo was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities
Devonte Joseph Guilfo remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Deputies did recover a shotgun.
