RESISTING ARREST BY FORCE OR VIOLENCE – BATTERY ON POLICE OFFICERS – ASHTON TREVON JOHNSON
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ashton Trevon Johnson, 23, of 112 Blackwell Lane, Belle Rose, La, on felony charges arising out of a disturbance and fight at the Community Center early Saturday morning in Napoleonville.
Deputies were summoned to the center to help disperse a large crowd. At some point, a fight amongst two persons erupted. Deputies intervened in the disturbance.
At that time, Ashton Trevon Johnson allegedly threw a beer container
very aggressively, striking a deputy in the forehead and spraying beer on other deputies.
As deputies confronted the suspect, he resisted their efforts.
After a period of time, Ashton Trevon Johnson was arrested. He was transported to and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Resisting Arrest by Force or Violence (2 Counts)
*Battery Upon a Police Officer
*Disturbing the Peace – Appearing in Public in an Intoxicated Condition
Ashton Trevon Johnson was released upon posting a $50,000 commercial bond.
