NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremiah Thomas Singleton, 19, of 213 Degreville Street, Morgan City, LA, on a warrant from Probation and Parole.
On February 18, 2021, Jeremiah Thomas Singleton was convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance. Singleton was sentenced to a term of 2 years at hard labor, suspended and placed on two years of supervised probation which was scheduled to conclude on February 18, 2023.
Jeremiah Thomas Singleton violated certain conditions of his probation resulting in a warrant being issued by 23rd Judicial District Judge Cody Martin on April 27, 2021.
Jeremiah Thomas Singleton was arrested on Monday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on a charge of violating his probation.
The Honorable Judge Cody Martin ordered Singleton held without bond.
