CONVICTED FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM – SIMPLE BURGLARY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING
TY ALBARADO (FELON) – THREE JUVENILES (BURGLARY)
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports multiple arrests arising from a residential burglary on LA 308 north of the Supreme Bridge.
On April 10, 2021, deputies responded to the call for service and made contact with the complainant, Ty Albarado, 27, of 3117 Highway 308, Napoleonville, LA. The complainant reported that the home he occupied was burglarized while he was away.
Through investigation, detectives were able to identify and file verified complaints against a 14-year-old and 16-year-old from Thibodaux, LA and a 14 yar old from Gray, LA.
The verified complaint was for a single count of:
*Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
The juveniles were released to their guardians.
Detectives recovered numerous guns which had been stolen in the burglary.
During the investigation, detectives identified Ty Albarado as having been convicted this year on felony drug charges. As such, Ty Albarado could not legally possess a firearm.
Ty Albarado was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:
*Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Ty Albarado remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing. All the firearms were seized as evidence.
