DISTURBANCE COMPLAINT – DRUG / GUN LAW VIOLATIONS
CANDICE LEE ROSS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Candice Lee Ross, of 1708 East Garner Drive, Morgan City, LA, on felony drug law violations following an incident in Bayou L’Ourse on Saturday night.
Deputies were dispatched to a Moffett Court address in connection with a disturbance complaint. The complainant advised that he was involved in a disagreement with another individual.
The investigating deputy left the complainant and patrolled the area to attempt to located the other party.
The deputy observed a vehicle parked nearby and approached the vehicle. At this time, the deputy recognized Candice Lee Ross and was aware that Ross was a fugitive from St. Mary Parish. Ross was arrested.
During the process, Ross was found to have been in possession of marijuana and multiple doses of Alprazolam (Xanax)
Candice Lee Ross was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
*Possession of Marijuana – 2nd Offense
Candice Lee Ross remains incarcerated with a bond set at $10,000.
