ILLEGAL POSSESION OF STOLEN THINGS

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Shauntel Nicole Hartdegen, 37, of 198 Lake Palourde Road, Morgan City, LA, on felony theft charges related to a stolen dirt bike.

On Tuesday, deputies responded to a complaint in Bayou L’Ourse relating to a previously reported stolen dirt bike. Upon speaking to the complainant, he reported that he had located the stolen dirt bike on Elaine Street and the bike had been painted. Deputies went to where the dirt bike was and determined that the bike was indeed the same one that had been reported stolen.

While at the location, Shauntel Nicole Hartdegen was interviewed and it was determined that she was in possession of the stolen dirt bike.

Shauntel Nicole Hartdegen was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on a charge of:

*Illegal Possession of Stolen Things (Felony)

Shauntel Nicole Hartdegen remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
