MAISON GARRET RIVERE
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Maison Garret Rivere, 26, of 708 Arkansas Street, Morgan City, LA, on charges related to a hit and run driving incident on Gumble Street in Belle River, LA.
Early Monday, deputies were dispatched to the area and a vehicle had struck several road signs and a tree and caused damage to a lawn.
The vehicle was no longer in the area, but deputies were able to identify Maison Garret Rivere as the driver.
A short time later, deputies approached a mentioned vehicle and Maison Garrett Rivere bailed from the passenger side, running from deputies. After a short pursuit, Maison Garret Rivere was captured, arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Hit and Run Driving
*Resisting an Officer
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property (Felony)
*Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Maison Garret Rivere was incarcerated and released on a $5,000 bond.
