BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Scott Joseph Mayon, 49, of 106 Hebert Lane, Morgan City, LA, on felony charges following a traffic stop in Bayou L’Ourse, LA.

An I.C.E. Unit deputy, on special assignment, observed an east bound vehicle commit a traffic violation on LA 662 on Sunday.

The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver now identified as Scott Joseph Mayon. Operator Mayon provided a Louisiana Identification card to the deputy.

The deputy conducted a routine computer inquiry on Scott Joseph Mayon and received a National Crime Information Center warrant for a probation / parole violation for the State of Louisiana.

Scott Joseph Mayon was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Warrant for Probation / Parole Violation (Louisiana Department of Corrections)

Scott Joseph Mayon was incarcerated without bond.
