TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
DEIONTREY DWAYNE MILES and GLORIA MILES

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Deinontrey Dwayne Miles, 21, of 3485 Cedarcrest Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA, Gloria Miles 40, of 102 Peterville Lane, Belle Rose, LA and the citing of Vincent Whitson, 43, of 14269 Oak Meadow Street, Gonzales, LA, following an investigative stop by narcotics agents on Tuesday.

A narcotics unit on assignment observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation near Napoleonville and proceeded to stop the vehicle.

Upon investigation, Deiontrey Dwayne Miles was identified as the driver. There were two passengers, namely Gloria Miles and Vincent Whitson.

After conducting driver / passenger interviews, the agent requested a K-9 unit.

The K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to particular areas. A search of the vehicle yielded illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Deiontrey Dwayne Miles was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Cocaine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Switched License Plates
*Driver Under Suspension

Gloria Miles was arrested and booked booked on charges of:

*Possession of Cocaine

Both Deiontrey Dwayne Miles and Gloria Miles were incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Vincent Whitson was issued a summons for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was released.
