VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDERS, STALKING
RYAN TIMOTHY MALAIN

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ryan Timothy Malain, 31, of 10389 Mary Lane, St. Amant, LA, on felony charges related to an ongoing domestic matter.

On February 16, 2020, Deputies responded to a location in East Pierre Part in connection with Ryan Malain having violated the terms of a protective order filed by a domestic partner.

Deputies responded and made contact with the complainant who indicated that Ryan Malain was violating the terms of the order by stalking her, sending inappropriate messages to her and threatening her by phone. By the time deputies arrived, Malain had left the area. Felony charges were filed against Malain and he was arrested on Tuesday in Ascension Parish as a fugitive from Assumption Parish on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault
*Violation of a Protective Order
*Telephone Communications Violations

Malain was released to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and booked into the detention center pending a bond hearing.
