SEARCH WARRANT – MULTIPLE DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
BRENT GERARD MEADS
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brent Gerard Meads, 30, of 2478 Highway 308 #19, Labadieville, LA, on drug related charges as a result of a continuing investigation.
The Sheriff’s Narcotics Division conducting an ongoing narcotics investigation parish wide, developed information identifying Brent Gerrard Meads as being involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics.
As a result of the investigation, agents secured a search warrant for the residence identified by the aforementioned address. Early Wednesday morning, deputies and agents converged on the residence and executed the search warrant.
During that process, agents seized quantities of illegal narcotics, assorted paraphernalia, firearms and a substantial amount of U.S. currency.
Brent Gerard Meads was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Amphetamines
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Suboxone
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Vyvanse
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Persons Under
17 years of Age
*Illegal Sale, Distribution or Possession of a Legend Drug without a Prescription
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Possession or Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia
Brent Gerrard Meads was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
