TRAFFIC STOP, FUGITIVE ARREST

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jarell S. Coleman, 31, of 13918 Winthorpe Court, Houston, Texas, on Sunday afternoon near Amelia.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and proceeded to stop the vehicle. Upon doing so the driver, identified as Jarell S. Coleman produced self-identification.

While deputies attempted to confirm the driver’s identity, the Communications Division confirmed that Coleman was wanted by Lafourche Parish.

Jarell S. Coleman was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a:

*Fugitive Warrant – Lafourche Parish

Jarell S. Coleman will be transferred to the custody of Lafourche Parish.
