DOMESTIC MATTER – MICHAEL LEE LEBLANC
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Michael Lee LeBlanc, 32, of 710 Sixth Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony charges related to a June 8, 2019 domestic disturbance near Belle Rose.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to a domestic incident call for service at a residence on Grisaffe Lane.
Upon contacting the victim, deputies noted significant injuries to her face. The victim advised that the suspect had physically attacked her outside of a local lounge.
Due to her injuries, Acadian Ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital.
At the time of the attack, the suspect was under a protective order.
The suspect fled the area, but deputies issued arrest warrants against him and entered those warrants into the state database.
The suspect was arrested in New Orleans and Assumption Parish deputies transported him back to the parish on Wednesday.
Michael Lee LeBlanc was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery
*Violation of Protective Orders
*Unauthorized Use of a Moveable
LeBlanc remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
