DOMESTIC INCIDENT
RONALD WASHINGTON, JR.

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ronald Washington, Jr., 23, of 159 Highway 1014, Labadieville, LA, following a domestic incident.

Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned address on Thursday morning. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who advised that Ronald Washington, Jr. had threatened her with a weapon. Deputies made contact with Ronald Washington, Jr. inside the family home and immediately detained him.

During the course of the investigation, a weapon was recovered.

Based on statements made by the complainant, the suspect, as well as evidence recovered, Ronald Washington, Jr. was arrested.

During transport, as well as at the Assumption Parish Detention Center, Ronald Washington, Jr. made threats of physical violence towards the arresting officer.

Ronald Washington, Jr. was booked on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
*Public Intimidation (Threats – Felony)

Washington remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
