JORDASHE DAGGS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jordashe Daggs, 39, of 8025 Weales Street, New Orleans, LA, in connection with a series of financial crimes which occurred in 2017.
In late 2017, detectives initiated an investigation related to identity theft. The victim in the case resided in Napoleonville.
Detectives determined that an individual had used the identity of the victim to obtain monetary instruments which resulted in the fraudulent purchase of numerous items valued in excess of $1000.
As a result of that investigation, detectives identified Jordashe Daggs as a potential suspect. Daggs was located in Smyrna, Georgia.
Investigators traveled to Georgia and were able to positively identify Daggs as one of the individuals involved in this matter.
Based on the totality of the evidence, detectives applied for and were granted multiple warrants for Daggs’ arrest. With the assistance of the Atlanta, Georgia Police Department, Daggs was arrested in that jurisdiction.
Jordashe Daggs was returned to Assumption Parish and booked into the Detention Center on Friday on charges of:
*Identity Theft
*Bank Fraud
*Monetary Instrument Abuse
Daggs remains incarcerated with a bond set at $35,000.
