DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Shawn Allen Priestly, 46, of 127 Elaine Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony charges related to a Thanksgiving evening domestic incident.

On Thursday, deputies were dispatched to 127 Elaine Street in connection with a domestic incident which resulted in two people including one child being treated at a local hospital.

Upon arrival, deputies received information that Shawn Allen Priestly had been involved in a domestic matter in which he caused injury to another individual. Based on evidence discovered at the scene, Shawn Allen Priestly was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

Shawn Allen Priestly posted bond of $4,000.
