FAILURE TO APPEAR / THEFT / FELONY – SCOTT J. FRICKIE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Scott J. Frickie, 47, of 143 Magnolia Courtyard, Houma, LA, on two separate failure to appear warrants.
Scott J. Frickie was originally arrested on August 27, 2019, on two separate warrants. The first count was theft of over $5,000 but less than $25,000. The second count was theft over $1,000 but less than $5,000. At the time of the original arrest, Frickie was ordered to appear in court but failed to do so.
The arrest centered around a check cashing scheme targeting local businesses.
Due to Frickie failing to appear in court as ordered, warrants were issued for his arrest on January 27, 2022.
Scott J. Frickie was arrested by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 7, 2022, and transferred to Assumption Parish and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center as follows:
*Failure to Appear – Theft More than $1,000 but less than $5,000
*Failure to Appear – Theft More than $5,000 but less than $25,000
Scott J. Frickie remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
