33RD ANNUAL D.A.R.E. OFFICERS TRAINING CONFERENCE, DEPUTIES MARSHA GIROIR, DYMONIC OLIVER, VERONICA BRADFORD
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon is pleased to announce that Assumption Parish Sheriff’s deputies Marsha Giroir, Dymonic Oliver and Veronica Bradford are currently attending the 2024 33rd Annual D.A.R.E. Officers Training Conference being held this week in Shreveport.
The conference is held each year and attendees receive instruction on topics related to what’s your D.A.R.E. Purpose, Hero / Peer Intervention, School Tactical, Medical Response, Mapping, De-escalation for School Resource Officers, Internet Safety, Entering the World of Autism, Use of Force in Schools, and numerous other subjects that deal with the students in our schools today.
“The D.A.R.E. Program is a vital resource, and I am pleased to have our deputies providing the instruction in our schools. The program provides children an opportunity to learn good decision-making skills to lead safe, healthy, and law-abiding lives”, Sheriff Falcon said.
