2021 SUGARCANE GRINDING SEASON

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reminds everyone that the 2021 sugarcane grinding season gets underway this week.

As we all know, the weather pattern has been less than desirable.

There will, be an increased presence of trucks and farming equipment traversing the roadways.

With all of these factors present, the roadways could become a little crowded, therefore a little more hazardous.

We ask the motoring public to give yourself a little more time to get to and from work, school, or wherever your travels are taking you.
