Domestic Disturbance - Wednesday, May 23, 2018

O’NEAL P. MILLS and MARGARET R. MILLS

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of O’Neal P. Mills, 65, and Margaret R. Mills, 59, both of 602 Philosopher Street, Napoleonville, LA, on domestic abuse charges following a disturbance at the couple’s home early Wednesday morning.

Uniformed patrol deputies received a call of a disturbance at the home and responded accordingly.  Upon arrival, deputies noted that both were armed with dangerous weapons inside the home, basically at a standoff.

Deputies seized both weapons and further attempted to diffuse the situation.

After neither party agreed to compromise, both suspects were arrested, transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and each booked on a count of:

            *Domestic Abuse / Aggravated Assault

Both were incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
