Fugitive Arrest From Jackson Count, Oregon - Tuesday, May 22, 2018

SUBJECT:      FUGITIVE ARREST FROM JACKSON COUNTY, OREGON

JONATHAN JOHNSON

 

PLATTENVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jonathan Johnson, 28, of 210 Maple Street, Labadieville, LA, on fugitive warrants from the Medford Police Department in Jackson County, Oregon.

A uniformed patrol division deputy stopped a vehicle on Tuesday on LA 70 for a seatbelt violation.  Upon stopping the vehicle, the deputy interviewed the driver.  The deputy then conducted a criminal records check which revealed that Jonathan Johnson was wanted by the Medford Police Department in Jackson County, Oregon on charges of:

            *1st Degree Robbery (3 Counts)

            *2nd Degree Robbery (3 Counts)

            *Assault in the Second Degree

            *Theft in the First Degree

            *Conditional Release Violation

The offenses occurred on or about March 07, 2018.

Johnson was arrested, booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on the above fugitive warrants.  Johnson will now undergo extradition proceedings.  When complete, he will be returned to the state of Oregon.
