Aggravated Second Degree Battery - Wednesday, May 16, 2018

SUBJECT:      AGGRAVATED SECOND-DEGREE BATTERY - RUSSELL C. MILLS

 

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Russell Charles Mills, 65, of 109 Kennedy Street, Napoleonville, LA, in connection with a disturbance on that street.

Deputies responded and observed one victim in the street with injuries appearing to be stab wounds.

Deputies questioned people on scene and were able to identify Russell Charles Mills as the suspect.

Deputies went to Mills’ residence and he was taken into custody.  Mills was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on a charge of:

            *Aggravated Second Degree Battery

Mills remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

The victim was transported by private vehicle to Assumption Community Hospital.
