Vandalism - Assumption High School - Tuesday, May 15, 2018

SUBJECT:      VANDALISM ASSUMPTION HIGH SCHOOL

 

NAPOLEONVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports three arrests in connection with vandalism committed upon property owned by the Assumption Parish School Board.

Those arrested and their charges are as follows.

Casey Landry, 18, 4042, Highway 70, Pierre Part, LA, charges with:

            *Criminal Trespassing

            *Simple Criminal Damage to Property in Excess of $8,000 (Felony)

Hayes Chandler, 17, of 221 Shell Beach Road, Pierre Part, LA, charged with:

            *Criminal Trespassing

            *Simple Criminal Damage to Property in Excess of $8,000 (Felony)

Haydn Rivere, 18, of 1123 Highway 402, Napoleonville, LA was charged with:

            *Criminal Trespassing

            *Simple Criminal Damage to Property in Excess of $8,000 (Felony)

On May 10, 2018, deputies responded to a vandalism complaint at Assumption High School.  Upon arrival and subsequent survey, deputies observed entry locks on building doors had been filled with what appeared to be glue, causing damages in excess of $8,000.

Investigating detectives were able to identify the three aforementioned suspects.  All three were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Friday afternoon.  All three were released on bond.
