Domestic Incident - Friday, May 4, 2018

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Victoria Ann Bimah, 27, of 129 Napoleon Avenue, Napoleonville, LA, on multiple charges related to a domestic disturbance in Pierre Part, LA on Thursday evening, May 3, 2018.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Pierre Part at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday in connection with a domestic disturbance.   Upon arrival, deputies interviewed the complainant as well as independent witnesses and were able to establish that the accused, Victoria Ann Bimah arrived at the location to complete a child custody transfer.  While there, Bimah became unruly and at some point, struck the complainant with her fists.  It was further determined that while attempting to drive off, the complainant was struck by the door of the suspect’s automobile.

Bimah traveled to her residence in Napoleonville where deputies made contact with her.

Deputies placed Bimah under arrest.  A struggle ensued but deputies did restrain Bimah, arrested her and transported her to the Assumption Parish Detention Center.  Bimah was booked on charges:

            *Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon

            *Domestic Abuse with Child Endangerment

            *Resisting an Officer (2 Counts)

Bimah was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
