DATE:             MONDAY, APRIL 30, 2018
TO:                  ALL MEDIA OUTLETS
FROM:            SHERIFF LELAND FALCON
SUBJECT:      LAW-ENFORCEMENT FIELD DAY AT NAPOLEONVILLE PRIMARY
SCHOOL

NAPOLEONVILLE – On Friday, April 27th, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office entertained and educated the kindergarten classes at Napoleonville Primary School on some of the equipment and personnel it uses to keep Assumption Parish safe.

The Sheriff’s Office displayed its drone, its K-9 Unit and conducted fingerprint collection from the children.

The fingerprint material is provided to parents in the event their child becomes lost or victim to some type of crime.  The collection of those prints now can be crucial if needed in the future.

Sheriff Leland Falcon thanks the Napoleonville Primary School for giving us the opportunity to share with staff and children, some of the work that we do.
