Warrants for Failure to Appear / Drug Law Violations - Monday, April 9, 2018

SUBJECT:      WARRANTS FOR FAILURE TO APPEAR / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

EUGENE TAYLOR NELSON, JR.

 

PAINCOURTVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Eugene Taylor Nelson, Jr., 25, of 114 Sugar Street, Paincourtville, LA, on outstanding warrants and drug law violations.

Deputies went to the aforementioned address to execute outstanding warrants on Nelson.  Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Nelson and placed him under arrest for two counts of Failure to Appear.

Deputies interviewed Nelson and based on the interview, deputies conducted a pat down search of Nelson. During the search process, deputies seized a quantity of Adderall as well as marijuana.  Nelson was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

            *Improper Parking

            *Possession of Adderall

            *Possession of Marijuana

            *Two Warrants for Failure to Appear

Nelson was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
