Drug Law Violation - Thursday, March 1, 2018

SUBJECT:      DRUG LAW VIOLATION LATISHA LANDRY

 

PIERRE PART Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Latisha Landry, 34, of 107 Cypress Street, Belle River, LA, on drug related charges in connection with a January 31, 2018 traffic stop near Labadieville, LA.

On that date, a uniformed patrol officer observed the vehicle Landry was a passenger, commit a traffic violation.

The deputy initiated a traffic stop and proceeded to interview the driver.  Narcotics officers arrived on scene and recognized Latisha Landry from prior narcotics and felony arrests.

Landry was interviewed and due to circumstances, officers asked Landry if she was in possession of any illegal substances or contraband.  After some hesitation, Landry turned over a quantity of meth-amphetamine.

Landry was not arrested immediately due to continued investigation.

A warrant was later issued for Landry resulting in her arrest on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. 

Landry remains in custody in lieu of $25,000.  Bond set by Judge Jessie LeBlanc. 

This marks numerous times Latisha Landry has been arrested on drug charges.
