BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland
Falcon reports the arrest of Christopher Michael Brown, 44, of 123 Cecilia
Street, Morgan City, LA, on drug related charges following a traffic stop in
Bayou L’Ourse, LA late Tuesday.
While patrolling, a uniform patrol officer observed a
pick-up truck blocking the roadway.
The deputy approached the truck and identified the
driver as Heather Lynn Guillory, 37, of 203 Aristle Road, Bayou L’Ourse. Deputies interviewed Guillory, then proceeded
to interview the passenger, Christopher Michael Brown. Based on those interviews, deputies summoned
a K-9 unit. The K-9 conducted an
open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted on the passenger compartment.
Deputies then searched Brown and seized a quantity of
meth-amphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Both Guillory and Brown were transported to the
Assumption Parish Detention Center.
Brown was booked on counts of:
of Marijuana (Second Offense Felony)
of Drug Paraphernalia
Brown was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Guillory was issued a misdemeanor summons for driving
under suspension and released.
