NARCOTICS ARREST - Thursday, December 15, 2016

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kinta Thompson, 35, of 235 Daggs Street, Belle Rose, LA, on charges following a traffic stop by narcotics agents early Tuesday.

Agents stopped the vehicle and subsequently conducted an interview of the driver, later identified as Thompson. It was also determined that Thompson had no driver’s license.

As a result of the interview with Thompson, agents conducted a search of his person and the vehicle. That search yielded 11mehtylphendate hydrochloride pills, a scheduled II drug.

Thompson was placed under arrest and transported to the parish jail where he was booked on charges of:
*Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance
*Switched License Plate
*No Driver’s License
The stop occurred north of Napoleonville. Thompson was jailed pending a bond hearing.
