Drug Law Violations - Tuesday, May 21, 2019

SUBJECT:      DRUG LAW VIOLATION AMANDA MARTIN, RONALD W. PATE

 

 

PLATTENVILLE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Amanda Martin, 50, of 771 St. Vincent Road, Napoleonville, LA and Ronald W. Pate, 68, of 2151 Highway 402, Paincourtville, LA, in connection with an ongoing illegal narcotics investigation.

 

Agents on assignment on Monday afternoon near a Plattenville business, observed suspicious activity ongoing between a male and female which appeared to be drug related.

 

As the transaction was consummated, agents closed in and executed a stop of both vehicles occupied by the suspects.

 

Both violators were interrogated and at the end of the interviews, both were placed under arrest.

 

Amanda Martin was booked on charges of:

           

            *Possession of Hydrocodone

           

Ronald W. Pate was incarcerated on charges of:

           

            *Distribution of Hydrocodone

 

Amanda Martin has been released on a $10,000 bond.

 

Ronald W. Pate is still incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
