Apparent Road Rage Incident - Monday, May 20, 2019

SUBJECT:      APPARENT ROAD RAGE INCIDENT REDELL HARRIS

 

 

BELLE ROSE Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Redell Harris, 59, of 36107 Beverly Hill, Prairieville, LA, on charges related to a probable road rage incident on Saturday.

 

Deputies were dispatched to the area of LA 1 and LA 70 and met with the complainant who indicated a male subject driving a pick-up truck flashed a weapon at them at the intersection.

 

A short time later, the suspect vehicle occupied by one male subject was observed parked outside the gate at an area business.

 

Deputies made contact with the driver who was identified as Redell Harris.

 

The suspect was interviewed as well as other witnesses and the complainant.

 

Based on the results of the investigation, Redell Harris was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on one count of:

           

            *Aggravated Assault with a Dangerous Weapon

 

Deputies did recover the alleged weapon.

 

Harris was released on a $3,500 bond.
